Compensation & Benefits Total Compensation Package:
Base Salary:
Up to $65,000 annually (based on experience)
Performance Bonuses:
Up to $7,000 awarded throughout the year based on measurable goals
Schedule:
Full-time, exempt position (45-50 hours/week, including nights, weekends, and holidays)

Join a team that values long-term commitment, respect, and shared success Leadership & Team Development Lead, mentor, and inspire the FOH team, creating a positive, collaborative work environment where people want to build careers Recruit, hire, train, and develop FOH staff (servers, hosts, bussers, bartenders, food runners, expediters) Provide consistent professional development that builds both hospitality excellence and operational expertise Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and mutual respect across FOH and BOH teams Maintain staffing levels and create schedules that balance exceptional service with labor cost control Build a team with low turnover and long-term commitment to our mission Guest Experience & Operational Excellence Assume 100% ownership of the guest experience—from the moment guests arrive until they leave Oversee daily FOH operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and security protocols Ensure food is presented to the highest quality standards and served with impeccable timing Resolve guest concerns calmly and professionally, turning challenges into opportunities Maintain pristine dining room standards that reflect our commitment to excellence Ensure compliance with all health, safety, alcohol service, and security regulations Systems Implementation & Efficiency Implement and streamline FOH systems that drive efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain consistency across all shifts Utilize POS systems and technology to track key performance indicators (KPIs): labor costs, sales trends, inventory, and service metrics Collaborate closely with the Kitchen Manager to ensure seamless FOH-BOH workflow Regularly assess processes and equipment to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency Develop scalable systems that can be replicated as we expand to new locations Financial Management & Cost Control Develop and manage the FOH annual budget, focusing on labor costs and inventory management Monitor and adjust labor schedules to meet financial targets without sacrificing service quality Implement strategic cost-control measures while maintaining our high standards Drive revenue through excellent service execution, thoughtful upselling, creative promotions, and special events Achieve measurable financial goals: maintain labor costs within target range, optimize purchasing decisions Preserving & Promoting Our Cuban Legacy Promote and elevate our traditional Cuban recipes while maintaining the authenticity that makes them beloved in our community Work with the Kitchen Manager and ownership to introduce seasonal specials and menu innovations that honor Cuban culinary traditions Ensure consistent quality from kitchen to table—every guest deserves the same amazing experience Help refine our culinary direction and expand our brand while preserving its cultural identity and family values Growth & Expansion Leadership Partner with ownership to help the restaurant grow into new locations and revenue streams Play a crucial role in setting and achieving expansion goals Participate in site visits, new location openings, and training programs Help ensure new locations reflect the same quality, service, and family-oriented values that define Café Piquet Leave a lasting impact as we bring our beloved Cuban cuisine to new communities What You Bring Required Experience & Skills 3+ years in FOH management or senior supervisory role in full-service restaurants Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (verbal and written)—essential for leading our bilingual team and ensuring clear communication Proven track record building strong teams and creating cultures of accountability and growth Experience implementing operational systems that improve workflow and reduce costs Working knowledge of POS systems, inventory tools, and performance tracking Deep appreciation for Cuban cuisine and hospitality traditions Strategic mindset with ability to think long-term about growth and scalability High school diploma required; college degree preferred Required Certifications & Capabilities Current Food Handler Certification Current TABC Certification Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to stand for 10+ hour shifts Able to lift up to 50 lbs Thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments Measurable Expectations You'll be evaluated on specific, achievable performance metrics:
