Job Description:
Quality Manager(Food and Beverage) The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of food safety, quality assurance, and compliance programs. This role ensures products meet HACCP, FSVP, GMPs, SQF, and FDA standards, while leading QA/QC processes, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Quality Manager provides leadership to the QA team and partners with cross?functional departments to maintain the highest standards of product integrity and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Fraud & Security
  • Manage Food Fraud and Plant Security/Vulnerability Programs. Customer Documentation
  • Support new customer setups by verifying internal documentation against specifications. SOP Management
  • Write, maintain, and improve quality system SOPs. Team Leadership
  • Lead hiring, training, and development of QA team members. Daily QA Operations
  • Manage daily quality operations and ensure effective execution of QA functions. HACCP Execution
  • Lead HACCP plan execution and ensure proper documentation. Inspection Oversight
  • Oversee inspection activities throughout the production cycle. Audit Support
  • Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and corrective actions. Noncompliance Resolution
  • Resolve quality issues related to raw materials or finished products. Budget Management
  • Manage departmental budgeting and resource allocation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field. 3+ years of experience in food manufacturing quality assurance. HACCP certification required. Strong background in QA/QC processes, including conducting quality audits. Knowledge of FSVP, GMPs, SQF, FDA, and other food safety regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem?solving skills.
