  • Part-time, Full-time Job Overview As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring our restaurant operates smoothly and efficiently.
You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to deliver exceptional dining experiences while leading a dynamic team. Your passion for food service and hospitality will shine as you oversee daily operations, manage staff, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. Join us in creating memorable moments for our guests! What you'll do Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, ensuring a seamless guest experience from start to finish. Lead and motivate team members through effective training, development, and performance management. Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure compliance with quality standards and food safety regulations. Manage inventory control processes to minimize waste while ensuring stock availability for smooth operations. Handle cash transactions accurately and oversee the operation of POS systems, including Aloha POS and Micros POS. Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork and open communication among staff members. Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process to build a strong team that aligns with our values. Monitor budgetary goals and assist in financial planning to maximize profitability without compromising quality. Basic qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management or as an assistant manager in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations within the food industry. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team. Proficient in cash handling procedures and familiar with various POS systems. Preferred qualifications Experience in fine dining or casual dining settings is highly desirable. Background in culinary arts or kitchen management is a plus. Familiarity with inventory management systems and budgeting processes is advantageous.
