Full Job Description Overview:
We are looking to hire an assistant manager at our newest Woody's Hideaway location in Webstr, TX! This position would be full time and on site. Some of the responsibilities include formulating overall strategy, managing people and establishing policies. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive, while ensuring our service and profits and are on the rise. Ultimately, you'll help our company grow and thrive. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations Design strategy and set goals for growth Maintain budgets and optimize expenses Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally Recruitment and training of new employees Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance Direct the employee assessment process Prepare regular reports for upper management Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors) Skills Proven experience in preferred management position Experience in planning, budgeting and event execution Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, operations etc.) Strong analytical ability Excellent communication skills Outstanding organizational and leadership skills Problem-solving aptitude Qualifications 2+ years of Bar/Restaurant Management and Customer Service experience 2+Experience as a Restaurant Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role 2+ years of experience in a leadership role Experience working with budgets, payroll, revenue and forecasting Strong communications and administrative skills
