Mosida Market Kitchen Manager Job Description:
Mosida Market Farmhouse Kitchen is farm-to-table, family owned, and dedicated to providing quality products and quality customer service to our customers. We pride ourselves in our fresh and local Utah County beef in our burgers and sandwiches, our tallow - fried potato fries, and our friendly, helpful staff. The Kitchen Manager is responsible for: Upholding and enforcing Mosida Market policies, as provided in the manager documents, including dress code, SOPs, etc. High level of competency in all kitchen tasks, such as grilling, prepping and working the fryers. Within 30 days of hiring, manager must obtain Food Manager Safety Certification. Directing operations in the cafe, delegating tasks, and prioritizing projects. Overseeing the cleanliness of kitchen, prep and storage areas and dining room. Uphold strict health, safety, and hygiene standards in accordance with government regulations and local health codes Schedule regular maintenance and cleaning for all kitchen equipment. Searching for, interviewing, and hiring new employees and adding them to our employee platform. Training new employees and/or assisting a shift lead in training them. Promoting shifts leads and providing raises as the need arises and competency is reached. Quality control in the kitchen, assuring high quality food is going out to our customers. Answering customers' questions and concerns and providing amazing customer service. Ordering ingredients through food supplier, keeping stock level adequate to reach next delivery day. Ensuring proper food storage according to health department guidelines. Scheduling employees, working with employees' schedules as much as possible and adequately staffing for lunch and dinner rushes. Keeping labor to sales percentage between 20-30%, as shown on Square. Planning ahead for busy days and weekends for staffing needs and supplies. Resolving minor employee complaints and notifying higher management of major issues. Foster a positive and collaborative employee culture.
Qualifications:
2-3 years Kitchen Manager experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate. Pay starts at $18+ DOE Store opening tenatively October 2026
Pay:
From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
