Role The Store:

Fine Foods Market & Deli is seeking an experienced, hands-on Service Deli Manager to lead our prepared foods and service deli department. This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll oversee daily operations, elevate food quality and presentation, and build a team that delivers an exceptional customer experience. We are not a typical grocery deli — this is a fast-paced, food-driven environment where quality, consistency, and hospitality matter. What You'll Do Lead and supervise the deli team across food prep, cooking, and service Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and quality Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with all regulations Manage inventory, ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction Train and develop team members in food handling, service, and systems Create schedules, manage labor, and drive team accountability Ensure fast, friendly, and knowledgeable customer service Collaborate on menu development, merchandising, and seasonal offerings Handle cash management and ensure accurate register balancing Utilize POS systems (Aloha, Micros, or similar) for operations and inventory What We're Looking For 2+ years of management experience in deli, prepared foods, or food service Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and developing teams Solid understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations Experience with inventory management, ordering, and cost control Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha, Micros, or similar) Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment Passion for food, quality ingredients, and customer experience Bonus if you have: Catering, banquet, or hospitality management experience Culinary or fine dining background What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Growth opportunities within a growing company Employee discounts and store perks A collaborative, food-focused team environment Opportunity to influence menu items, products, and department direction Schedule Full-time Weekend availability required
