Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Night Bakery Manager to oversee the nightly operations of our bakery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As the Night Bakery Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring efficient production processes, and delivering exceptional customer service. Bowman's has been a staple of the community for 115 years and is famous for our amazing donuts! We need a manager to maintain these standards and keep the bar set at the highest level. Responsibilities Lead and supervise night bakery staff, including training development and shift management. Oversee grave shift operations to ensure efficient production and service. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and budgeting for costs. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness. Maintain Bowman's standards for our famous donuts. Utilize POS systems for tracking sales and managing transactions effectively. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth. Communicate efficiently and effectively with Day shift management to maximize productivity and increase sales. Qualifications Proven experience in a food service or restaurant management role, preferably in a bakery setting. Strong background in culinary arts with knowledge of food handling practices. Experience in budgeting and financial management related to bakery operations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and develop team members. Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
