Job Overview We are on the lookout for a proactive and energetic Assistant Manager to lead our restaurant team. This role is all about creating a lively, welcoming atmosphere while ensuring smooth daily operations. As an Assistant Manager, you'll be at the heart of delivering top-notch food service, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of hospitality. Responsibilities Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and customer satisfaction. Supervise and motivate staff, including training new team members and conducting performance evaluations. Manage food preparation processes, ensuring quality standards and safety protocols are met. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS. Control inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries. Assist in budgeting, cost control, and maintaining profitability while upholding service excellence. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe working environment. Support shift management by coordinating schedules and resolving operational issues promptly. Requirements Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant management roles within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management. Familiarity with POS systems such as Tray POS and Micros POS for cash handling and sales tracking. Excellent leadership skills with experience supervising staff in casual dining or quick service environments. Ability to manage inventory control, food safety standards, and food handling procedures effectively. Prior experience with fine dining or banquet settings is a plus; hospitality management background is preferred.
