Job Summary Are you a passionate leader who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment? Moby Dick House of Kabob is looking for a high-energy General Manager to lead one of our locations, develop strong teams, and drive operational excellence. In this role, you'll oversee day-to-day operations, inspire your team, and ensure every guest enjoys an outstanding experience. You'll be responsible for training, team development, and performance management while keeping the restaurant running smoothly and hitting key performance goals. Reports To:
Area Director Schedule Expectations:
Minimum 50 hours per week across at least 5 days. Schedule must include at least 2 closing shifts and 1 weekend shift per week (rotating days).
Responsibilities:
Review store performance and track against goal/budget: Sales Cost of Goods Sold (COGs) Labor Leadership Tracker R&M Tracker Prepare for and attend weekly regional calls Create store labor schedules and submit for approval Review and approve all open invoices in Restaurant365 (R365). Conduct one-on-one meetings with each Assistant General Manager (AGM) and Shift Leader (SL). Attend monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) review with your Area Director. Attend all quarterly in-person GM Meetings. Participate in the Quarterly Budget Review (QBR) process Drive Sales through Local Restaurant Marketing. Develop Your Team using Moby Dick's training tools, mentorship, and support. Keeping up with all repair and maintenance and ensure store facilities are in good working order Control Costs (Cost of Goods Sold, Labor, supplies, etc.). Ensure Guest Satisfaction. Achieve and maintain an average of 4.5-star ratings on Google, Yelp, and other review platforms. Uphold Company Culture by fostering a workplace that aligns with Moby Dick's values.
