We are partnering with a high-volume, full-service restaurant in Charlottesville, VA, to find an Operations Manager who understands the real pace of hospitality. Whether you cut your teeth in a respected independent concept or a structured corporate brand, this role is designed for an emerging leader ready to make a tangible operational impact. This is a front-line leadership role focused on shift execution, team stability, and the guest experience. What You Will Do Lead front-of-house operations during high-volume shifts, ensuring a seamless, high-quality guest experience from the door to the table. Support, coach, and develop a team of servers, bartenders, and support staff to elevate service standards. Drive sequence of service and beverage program execution in a busy, full-bar environment. Manage daily shift execution, including dynamic floor plans, labor controls, and real-time problem resolution. Partner with senior leadership to protect operational consistency, build team morale, and drive long-term profitability.
Qualifications Required:
1 to 2 years of front-of-house management experience in a full-service restaurant and bar environment. Operational background in either a respected independent concept or a structured corporate/franchise brand. Strong understanding of bar operations, full-service pacing, and effective guest recovery. Ability to remain calm, direct, and effective when the restaurant is full and the pressure is on.
Preferred:
Working knowledge of restaurant scheduling, basic labor management, and high-volume beverage operations. Compensation & Benefits Base salary of approximately $70,000 annually.
