In this role, you will oversee daily kitchen activities, ensure exceptional food quality, and maintain a seamless workflow that delights our guests. Your leadership will inspire staff, uphold food safety standards, and drive operational excellence to create memorable dining experiences. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated culinary professional eager to make a significant impact in a lively hospitality setting. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high standards of quality and consistency. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices. Oversee food safety compliance by enforcing sanitation protocols, handling food safely, and maintaining cleanliness standards in accordance with health regulations. Lead staff training and development initiatives, including onboarding new team members, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering a positive team environment. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation to ensure accurate financial transactions. Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet customer demand during peak hours while optimizing labor costs. Collaborate with front-of-house teams to deliver exceptional customer service and resolve any operational issues promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments. Strong knowledge of inventory control techniques and food safety standards; experience with Aloha POS and Micros POS systems is preferred. Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in hospitality or restaurant management roles. Excellent communication skills for staff training, interviewing candidates, and managing team dynamics. Background in culinary arts or food industry management; fine dining or banquet experience is a plus. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and manage shift operations efficiently. Familiarity with budgeting, food production processes, catering services, and hospitality management principles.
