In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen management, ensuring exceptional food quality, safety standards, and efficient workflow. Your leadership will inspire a high-performing team dedicated to delivering outstanding dining experiences across various service formats, including quick service, casual dining, and catering. Responsibilities Lead and manage daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet high-quality standards. Supervise and train kitchen staff on food safety, handling procedures, and culinary techniques to ensure consistent excellence. Oversee inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste using systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all kitchen areas. Manage shift scheduling, staffing levels, and performance evaluations to optimize team productivity. Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control, and menu development to enhance profitability. Ensure smooth coordination with front-of-house teams for seamless service delivery during busy hours or special events such as banquets or catering functions. Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment. Strong supervisory skills with a track record of staff training and development in food service management. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for inventory control and cash handling. Extensive knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and sanitation standards. Experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and implementing inventory control measures. Background in various dining formats including casual dining, quick service restaurants, fine dining or hotel kitchens is highly desirable. Exceptional leadership abilities with excellent communication skills; comfortable interviewing and onboarding new team members.
