General Field Manager (GFM)

Do you have experience in construction, field operations, or logistics—and want to use those skills to keep crews on track and jobs running smoothly? Home Performance Inc. is looking for a General Field Manager who's ready to lead from the front. If you're energized by daily movement, strong leadership, and the chance to build better systems while making a real impact—you're who we've been waiting for. As our General Field Manager, you'll be the bridge between planning and execution—the person making sure our field crews start strong and finish even stronger. You'll run daily huddles, support the crews in real-time, solve on-the-ground issues, and inspect job quality every step of the way. This isn't a desk job. It's a high-impact, field-based leadership role where your presence matters , and your ability to stay ahead of problems is what keeps our whole operation moving. What You'll Do Every Day Kick off each morning with field crews— lead daily huddles and reviews Check in at the warehouse, make sure teams are on time, in uniform, and equipped Visit every crew in your region weekly —you're the eyes and ears of the field Oversee job readiness: trucks stocked, tools working, equipment inspected Work closely with the Ops Manager to manage schedules, callouts, and coverage Handle field-level issues: mechanical, logistical, or performance-related Support team development—spot talent, recommend promotions, and coach when needed Tackle customer complaints or damage claims and follow them through to resolution Make sure every home gets 100% of eligible energy upgrades installed Track team metrics, approve hours, and help reduce unnecessary overtime You're a Great Fit If You… Have experience in construction, logistics, or field operations Enjoy leading teams and know how to hold people accountable with respect Stay calm under pressure and can solve problems on the fly Are detail-oriented and tech-comfortable (Homebase, Google Suite, GoFormz, etc.) Are organized, proactive, and love a fast-paced environment Are flexible to travel across Virginia and surrounding states and stay overnight throughout the week Valid DL Background and Drug Screen Required What We Offer $ 62,000+ base annual salary Performance-based bonuses paid quarterly Company vehicle or mileage reimbursement Paid training and onboarding Support from a responsive, experienced operations team Real opportunities for growth in a rapidly expanding company About Us Home Performance Inc. is a leader in residential energy efficiency.
