Production Manager to join our team! The ideal candidate can work in a fast-paced environment and have a very keen eye for detail. We are an
USDA/FDA
production facility specializing in fresh and frozen ready-to-eat products . This position will be on our swing shift starting at 10am until 6:30pm.
Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day culinary operations Complete daily record-keeping in accordance with
USDA/FDA
guidelines Motivating, supporting and providing guidance to production staff Ensuring all safety and health standards are met for staff safety and product safety Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations Setting productivity goals for each manufacturing team Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality Ensuring adequate scheduling of staff Validating food safety procedures Supervising and documenting facility sanitation Ensuring final product is as intended and recipes are scaled and batched appropriately Measuring production quantities and notating overages and under production.
Qualifications:
Degree in culinary arts or the equivalent in experience Knowledge of cost and labor systems Passion for systems and process management Strong leadership qualities Attention to detail Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Ability to communicate in Spanish strongly desired
