Front of House (FOH) Manager /

From scratch-made dough and signature house sauces to our craft beverage program, we focus on quality food served in a warm, welcoming, and high-energy atmosphere. We are looking for a dedicated Front of House Manager / Lead to set the tone on the floor, elevate the guest experience, and support our team every shift. Role Overview As the FOH Manager / Lead, you are the face of hospitality and the operational backbone of our dining room. You will lead hosts, servers, bartenders, and support staff, ensuring seamless service from the moment guests walk through the door. This hands-on leadership role balances floor presence, guest connection, team mentorship, and daily operational flow.
Key Responsibilities Floor Leadership:
Lead daily floor operations during peak service, maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and pacing.
Guest Hospitality:
Proactively engage with guests, build relationships with regulars, handle guest feedback gracefully, and ensure memorable dining experiences.
Team Development:
Train, mentor, and coach FOH team members; conduct pre-shift briefings and foster a positive, supportive team culture.
Kitchen & Bar Coordination:
Partner closely with the kitchen team to coordinate ticket timing, communicate special orders, and maintain smooth communication between front and back of house.
Daily Operations:
Oversee shift openings and closings, cash handling, drawer reconciliations, and POS management.
Inventory & Supplies:
Monitor FOH supplies, bar essentials, and service wares, alerting leadership to stock needs.
Compliance & Safety:
Enforce Washington State food safety standards and MAST alcohol service compliance across the team. Qualifications 2+ years of front-of-house restaurant experience in a fast-paced casual dining, craft pizza, or full-service setting. Previous supervisory experience (Shift Lead, Key Holder, or Assistant Manager) preferred. Strong working knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, and floor management. Passion for hospitality, craft food, and delivering exceptional customer care. Natural communicator who remains calm and composed under pressure during rush periods. Current Washington State Food Worker Card and MAST Permit (or ability to obtain prior to start). Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
