We are looking for an experienced and responsible Restaurant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, lead our team, and help ensure an excellent experience for both our guests and employees. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with restaurant management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a busy restaurant environment while maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, food quality, and employee performance. What You'll Do Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth service Lead, supervise, and support restaurant employees Manage front-of-house and coordinate with kitchen management Assign daily tasks and ensure employees understand their responsibilities Monitor employee performance, attendance, punctuality, and compliance with company policies Train and onboard new employees Provide coaching and feedback to employees when needed Help create and maintain employee schedules based on business needs Ensure appropriate staffing levels during busy and slow periods Handle customer questions, concerns, and complaints professionally Resolve customer service issues and follow up when necessary Maintain high standards of customer service and hospitality Monitor restaurant cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance Ensure employees follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures Monitor food and supply levels and communicate ordering needs to management Help reduce food waste and unnecessary operating expenses Monitor cash handling and ensure proper register and payment procedures are followed Assist with opening and closing procedures Monitor daily restaurant operations and address problems as they arise Communicate operational issues and employee concerns to restaurant ownership/management Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen leadership to ensure efficient service Help implement and maintain company policies and procedures Lead by example and maintain a professional, respectful, and positive work environment
Work Schedule:
Full-time; schedule will be discussed during the interview. Weekend and holiday availability is required. The Restaurant Manager must be flexible and available to work different shifts based on restaurant business needs.
PayCompensation:
$50,000 - 65,000 a year (Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications)
Benefits:
We offer competitive employee benefits including paid sick leave (1 hour per 40 hours worked), partial employer-covered medical insurance (75% for full-time employees), and paid vacation: 1 week after 1 year of employment and 2 weeks after 2 years. Required Qualifications Significant professional experience in restaurant management, assistant management, or a similar leadership position Fluent in both Ukrainian and English (nice to have but not required) Proven experience supervising and managing restaurant employees Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to effectively handle customer complaints and difficult situations Experience with employee scheduling and staffing Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to prioritize tasks and make decisions in a fast-paced environment Experience with cash handling and restaurant operational procedures Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards Ability to train, coach, and motivate employees Ability to hold employees accountable for following company policies and procedures Strong problem-solving skills Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Reliable, punctual, professional, and responsible Preferred Qualifications Experience managing a restaurant Experience managing both front-of-house and back-of-house operations Experience with POS systems and restaurant management software Experience with inventory, ordering, and cost control Experience handling employee relations and workplace conflicts Experience with staff scheduling and labor management
