This role is ideal for a hands-on inventory leader who understands warehouse operations, food safety requirements, cycle counting, reconciliation, and inventory accuracy in a fast-paced distribution environment. The Inventory Manager will play a key role in improving inventory control, reducing variances, supporting operational efficiency, and ensuring product availability across warehouse operations. This is a strong opportunity for a detail-oriented leader who enjoys building processes, developing teams, and partnering cross-functionally with operations, procurement, quality, and transportation. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily inventory control activities, including inventory accuracy, transaction reporting, cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, shrink, damaged goods, obsolete inventory, and product variances. Partner with warehouse leadership to support proper receiving, storage, product rotation, shipping, FIFO, FEFO, lot tracking, and shelf-life requirements. Develop inventory reports, KPIs, and performance metrics to identify trends, monitor inventory levels, and recommend corrective actions. Lead, train, and develop inventory control team members and warehouse personnel on inventory procedures, controls, and best practices. Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, audit requirements, and applicable regulatory expectations.
Compensation and Benefits Salary range:
