Assistant Kitchen Manager Job Description:

The Assistant Kitchen Manager supports the Kitchen Manager in overseeing kitchen operations ensuring excellence in food quality and consistency while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

What You Will Do:

Assist the Kitchen Manager in maintaining high standards for food prep and presentation and ensuring quality and cleanliness. Provide coaching and training to develop skills and knowledge of kitchen staff. Follow and maintain proper sanitation, health regulations and food safety standards. Assist the Kitchen Manager with the daily running of the kitchen for smooth, efficient service.

About You:

Strong work ethic and team player. Knowledge and understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations. Excellent verbal communication and problem solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a safe, clean, organized kitchen. Able to lift 40lbs, stand, walk, bend, stoop and reach throughout shift.
