Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Bar Manager to lead our bar operations with enthusiasm and expertise. In this role, you will oversee daily bar activities, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Your leadership will drive team performance, uphold food and beverage quality standards, and manage all aspects of bar management to deliver memorable experiences for our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your management skills in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment. This is a working manager role where you would be bartending @ least 3 days a week and working solo. The bartender is responsible for all food on their solo shift. This is a job for someone who wants to hustle and make money. The daily tip average is between $200 - 500 depending on the shift. This job is located in Kitsap County within 25 minutes of Manchester. Responsibilities Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service during all shifts and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and food handling. Lead, train, and develop bar staff to deliver outstanding customer service while fostering a positive team environment. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability. Oversee food preparation and beverage presentation to ensure consistency with quality standards and menu specifications. Handle cash management duties such as POS transactions using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and register reconciliation. Enforce food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures in compliance with health department standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff on food production, catering, banquets, and special events to deliver seamless service experiences. Support staff training initiatives focused on culinary techniques, customer service excellence, and operational procedures. Manage shift schedules, coordinate staffing levels for busy periods, and assist in interviewing potential team members. Monitor customer feedback and address concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty. Requirements Proven experience in restaurant management or food service management within a quick service & fast food restaurant or casual dining environment. Strong background in supervising teams with demonstrated leadership skills in hospitality or culinary settings. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen management, and food safety protocols. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient cash handling and sales processing. Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and cost management to maximize operational efficiency. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally. Previous experience in managing shifts, training staff, and conducting interviews for team expansion. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards. Hospitality or hotel experience is a plus; culinary experience or barista/coffee expertise is highly valued.
