Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional food experiences. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure food quality and safety standards are met, and foster a positive environment that promotes teamwork and excellence. Your leadership will drive efficiency, maintain inventory control, and uphold the highest hospitality standards to delight our guests and support our staff. Duties Supervise all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation, ensuring consistency and quality. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices. Oversee food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures. Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff, assigning tasks, and ensuring smooth operations during busy periods in quick service or fine dining settings. Monitor cash handling procedures and reconcile daily sales to maintain financial accuracy. Foster a positive work environment by supervising staff, conducting interviews for new hires, and supporting ongoing training & development initiatives. Requirements Proven management experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment with a focus on food service management. Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations across casual dining, quick service, or fine dining establishments. Strong understanding of inventory control, budgeting, and food safety standards within the food industry. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in supervising teams, training staff, and managing shift operations effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality management principles. Prior experience in restaurant management roles such as assistant manager or kitchen supervisor is highly desirable.
