Job Description

Job Overview Our restaurant is seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager to lead our retail operations with passion and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily store activities, drive sales growth, manage a diverse team, and ensure exceptional customer service. Your leadership will inspire staff, optimize operational efficiency, and uphold the highest standards of retail management. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional eager to make a significant impact in a fast-paced retail environment. Responsibilities Lead and motivate the team to achieve sales targets, deliver outstanding customer service, and foster a positive culture. Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations including inventory management, food quality and safety, pricing strategies, and POS (Point of Sale) systems. Manage employee recruitment, onboarding, training & development, and performance evaluations to build a skilled and engaged workforce. Supervise daily shift management activities such as cashiering, cash handling, customer interactions, and restaurant cleanliness. Implement effective inventory control procedures, stock replenishment strategies, and purchasing decisions to maximize profitability. Conduct regular financial oversight including budgeting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and sales reporting to ensure operational excellence. Develop marketing initiatives to increase foot traffic and sales while maintaining excellent communication with staff and customers alike. Qualifications Proven management experience within the restaurant industry with a focus on sales team leadership and operational oversight. Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development. Experience with catering is desired but not a requirement. Extensive experience with retail math including pricing strategies, sales management, budgeting, and inventory control. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, merchandising techniques, and restaurant management software. Demonstrated supervisory experience in restaurant environments with a focus on team management and operational efficiency. Excellent communication skills paired with organizational skills to manage multiple priorities seamlessly. $52,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
