KITCHEN MANAGER
| CHEF de CUISINE The Vault Catering is a high-end, innovative, and experience-driven catering company serving the most delicious events in the South Sound for nearly 30 years. We are seeking a creative, confident, and experienced leader to support our catered food production. What You'll Own Lead and develop a high-performing BOH team through hiring, coaching, and mentorship Build a kitchen culture focused on pride, presentation, and consistency Manage labor scheduling and cost control without sacrificing quality Oversee inventory, product rotation, ordering, and recipe standards to maintain efficient operations Ensure prep standards, quality control, and execution meet event and delivery deadlines Maintain a spotless, organized kitchen environment Uphold strict food safety and sanitation standards Who You Are Experienced in large-scale catered foodservice production Available and flexible to the schedules and seasons that events demand (this is not a weekly set schedule) A proven kitchen leader with Kitchen Manager, Lead Chef, or Supervisor experience Someone who leads by example, supports their team, and is a strong communicator A builder of teams — you raise standards and morale at the same time Calm under pressure and confident during busy prep or event days Operationally sharp — you understand numbers, systems, and workflow Passionate about food quality, artistic presentation, and execution Minimum Qualifications 2+ years of professional kitchen and catering/banquet experience Current health card and strong food safety knowledge Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Valid WA state driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles Ability to pass a knife/skills/plating test
