Responsibilities:

Lead shifts to ensure smooth operations and uphold Five Guys' brand standards Train, coach, and motivate team members in all positions including register, grill, prep, and close Maintain high levels of food quality, safety, and cleanliness throughout the restaurant Drive team communication to keep the kitchen running efficiently during peak hours Manage cash handling, daily reports, and end of shift procedures accurately Foster a positive, energetic work environment that encourages teamwork and growth Ensure excellent customer service and uphold the Five Guys guest experience every shift

Requirements:

Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team under pressure Energy and stamina to thrive in a busy, team based kitchen environment Strong communication skills to lead real time, on the line coordination during shifts Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining accuracy and quality standards Passion for great food, teamwork, and creating a fun work atmosphere Commitment to completing the Five Guys Manager Certification program including 150 hours of hands on kitchen training as a crew member Reliable, responsible, and dedicated to showing up with a positive, get it done attitude This role requires the ability to remain standing for extended periods and to lift or move items up to 50 pounds.

Our franchise is required to abide by the Five Guys Brand Standards. That means that all managers and management candidates are required to work a minimum of 150 hours in the kitchen as a crew member. You will have to complete the manager certification process. This can take anywhere from 30-60 days to complete based upon the applicant's ability. You will be hired at the MIT rate 18.50 and then after 30 days or manager certification your wage will be renegotiated. (Wages can be negotiated based upon experience.)
