Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and ensure the seamless operation of our food service establishment. In this vital role, you will oversee daily kitchen activities, manage food preparation processes, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and quality. Duties Supervise all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Oversee food safety practices in compliance with health regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation, and storage procedures. Lead staff training and development initiatives, including onboarding new team members, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering a positive team environment. Coordinate shift management by assigning tasks, overseeing workflow, and resolving operational issues promptly. Conduct regular profit and loss analysis to identify opportunities for revenue growth and expense reduction while maintaining high service standards. Experience Proven management experience in a fast-paced food service environment, preferably within quick service or casual dining settings. Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations with a focus on quality control. Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising teams, training staff, and managing restaurant operations effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling and sanitation. Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and managing profit margins within a hospitality or restaurant setting. Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate teams, conduct interviews, and manage conflict constructively.
