Production Shift Lead -

Your part in our story:
The Production Shift Lead acts as backup to the Production Supervisor. Together with the Production Supervisor, the Production Shift Lead is responsible for training all production and injection molding staff and overseeing day-to-day production activities. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe work group that is focused on quality, customer service, people development, and producing products at the lowest possible cost.
Assist the Production Supervisor in leading a team of 6-8 production personnel. Through leadership that promotes putting people first, operating honestly, ethically, and promoting/advancing a strong team-oriented environmentFostering an inclusive and supportive environment through a feedback-driven workplace where every employee feels heard, valued, and empowered.
Driving safety compliance for all employees by setting and enforcing safety guidelines (a company safety champion).Provides hands-on safety training for all Production staff.
Together with the Production Supervisor, He/she will lead, motivate, and delegate personnel in the Production area of responsibility.
This position requires a minimum of 95% of time on the production floor, developing and supporting employees. As well as hands-on setup, training, and troubleshooting of all the packaging and production equipment.
Execute a multitude of packaging & food safety Quality Checks and document appropriately into the Food Safety and Quality Assurance software used by Premium Waters.
Acquire in-depth knowledge of our automated packaging and manufacturing equipment.
This position will require hands-on operation, training, and troubleshooting of the following equipment: Molding equipment, fillers, labelers, cappers, case packers, and robotic palletizers. Ensure Production employees are trained in quality and machinery operations, as well as all operating procedures relevant to their roles.
Have or acquire knowledge of GMP's, sanitation standards, and
Ensuring the on-time delivery of our products to all our customers, as dictated by the production schedule.
Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the entire production area.
Ensuring proper maintenance and care of all machines, tools, and other auxiliary equipment Completion or verification of completion of all paperwork on time and accurately.
Work 5am-5:10pm on a 2-2-3 shift schedule:
