Job Description
Restaurant General Manager - Quick-Service Restaurant Confidential Employer Fond du Lac, WI 54935 Full-Time | In Person We are an established, locally owned restaurant group seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our Fond du Lac location. This is a hands-on leadership position. The General Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the restaurant, including staffing, team development, guest service, food quality, cleanliness, sales, labor, inventory, and day-to-day operations. The right person will be comfortable working alongside the team, coaching employees in real time, solving problems, and taking ownership of the restaurant's results. Key Responsibilities Oversee all daily restaurant operations Hire, train, coach, and develop employees Build schedules and maintain proper staffing levels Manage labor, food costs, inventory, ordering, and waste Maintain strong standards for food quality, speed, and accuracy Create a friendly and consistent guest experience Address guest and employee concerns professionally Enforce food safety, cleanliness, and company procedures Maintain the restaurant, equipment, and overall appearance Execute promotions and company initiatives Review restaurant performance and develop improvement plans Communicate regularly with company leadership What We Are Looking For Previous restaurant management experience General Manager experience preferred Quick-service restaurant experience is a plus Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to develop employees and hold the team accountable Experience managing schedules, inventory, labor, and food costs Organized, dependable, and comfortable making decisions Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and some holidays Food Safety Manager certification or willingness to obtain it Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Health insurance Vacation 401(k) Employee meal discount Training and opportunities for advancement Support from an experienced leadership team If you are a hands-on leader who takes pride in developing people, serving guests, and running a strong restaurant, we would like to meet you.
