We are seeking skilled and passionate Front of House Manager for The Eleanor Room, a sophisticated kitchen and cocktail restaurant. The Eleanor Room is a cocktail focused restaurant with an emphasis on tequila and small plate dining. With a large bar and attached tasting table the restaurant seats approximately 75 people inside with a large patio in the summer. We are searching for the perfect candidates who are passionate about amazing cocktails and great food. Job duties include but are not limited to, the following: Position Overview The Front of House Manager oversees the day-to-day operations, working closely with the managment team to ensure smooth service, strong team performance, and outstanding guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate is experienced, outgoing, organized, and service-driven, with a natural ability to uplift staff while maintaining operational excellence. Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
  • Oversee daily front-of-house operations, including dining room, and patio service.
  • Lead pre-shift meetings, set service expectations, and ensure readiness for service through pre- and post-service checks.
  • Provide superior guest service and model exceptional hospitality standards.
  • Make proactive table touches throughout every shift to ensure guest satisfaction and anticipate needs before they arise.
  • Personally welcome VIPs, regulars, and special occasion guests to create a memorable, relationship-driven experience.
  • Supervise and support servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff to maintain consistent service quality.
  • Acknowledge and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Work directly with the GM on forecasting, cost control, labor management, and operational efficiency.
  • Assist with hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and training FOH team members.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation protocols.
  • Monitor service flow, floor management, and guest experience throughout each shift.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with guests and community clientele.
  • Collaborate with the management team on marketing initiatives, event execution, specials, and promotions to drive sales.
  • Support menu rollouts, beverage programs, and seasonal updates to maintain brand alignment. Hours and Benefits The FOH Manager will be expected to work approximately 40+ hours per week. The FOH Manager may need to work some late nights or some earlier brunch shifts, or both.
