We're an events company operating in 30+ cities throughout the United States. We're expanding into the Milwaukee area and working with local bars & restaurants to host our themed events like the Tacos & Margs Crawl®, Mimosa Fest, and "Boos Fest" Halloween Bar Crawl. These events each typically draw 500-1000 attendees. We're seeking an individual to fill our Milwaukee Manager role. You'll be working directly under our Regional Event Coordinator and responsible for managing our locally based Assistant Manager, Event Production staff, and media team to ensure the successful execution of these events. Paid training will be provided to ensure your success in the role, starting in January 2025.
Responsibilities:
Take direction from Regional Event Coordinator, and follow through on the ground to ensure successful execution of events throughout the year Conduct several site visits to partner venues leading up to each event (discuss event details, distribute promotional materials, plan for success) Communicate with Assistant Manager, Event Staff, and Photographer to confirm attendance, proper attire, etc. Participate in team call the week of each event Guarantee safety of event supplies & materials Event day: Early arrival & set up Sign in/out staff and ensure proper pay outs Train and assign roles to staff Help onboard customers to event app and problem solve any technical issues Ensure proper break down and clean up Close out tabs with participating venues, ensuring proper amounts are paid Maintain positive relationships with partner venues and communities Ensure event compliance with state/local regulations Communicate important information with Event Coordinator and fill out end-of-event recap report at event conclusion
Requirements:
2+ years of event/hospitality/service management experience Knowledge of the service industry Ability to manage and motivate staff Excellent organizational, planning, and multitasking skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle stress and solve problems quickly Comfortable in high volume, fast paced, alcohol-infused environments Ability to learn technology and teach it to others (i.e. how to use an app) 21+ years of age, or older

Tacos and Margs Availability:
4-5 hrs for paid training (one time per year) 2 hrs for site visit 5 weeks before each event 2 hrs for site visit 1 day before each event 8-10 hrs day of each event (approx 10:30am - 7:30pm)

Additional site visits may be required at Event Coordinator's request, which will be paid
