Full Job Description Employment Type:
Part-time, 10-15 hours per week
Schedule:
2-3 days per week during business hours (8:30am-4:00pm or 5:00pm).
Compensation:
$25-$30 per hour

Both parents work in professional roles that require focus and flexibility, with some travel mixed in. Our home runs on teamwork, but we've reached a point where we need someone to help bring more organization and ease into our daily routines. We value efficiency and results, and we're looking for someone who can help us build sustainable systems so our home feels less reactive and more intentional. We appreciate initiative and are ready to partner with someone who can help us get ahead of the weekly chaos. Who You Are We're looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and systems-driven. You're comfortable working independently and can follow direction initially, then take more initiative as you learn our rhythms and preferences. You have an eye for what needs to be done without being told and can spot opportunities to improve how things run. You're detail-oriented, calm, and outcome-focused, and you take pride in helping others offload their mental bandwidth. Key Responsibilities Meal Support Prepare simple, healthy meals in batches 2-3 times per week (breakfast sandwiches, crockpot meals, cut fruit, proteins like chicken and ground beef, grains, salads) Follow family-provided recipes initially, then adapt based on preferences once familiar Manage grocery ordering (primarily online pickup or delivery) and put items away Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization Household Organization & Maintenance Create and maintain household organization systems (closets, toy storage, pantry, entryway) Perform daily resets and light tidying (dishes, surfaces, putting items in place) Seasonal swaps (clothing and bedding) Prepare and coordinate donation drop-offs Inventory & Errands Restock pantry, fridge, and household supplies Manage running household supply lists and subscriptions (Amazon Subscribe & Save) Handle mail and package deliveries (open packages, put items away, break down boxes, take to recycling) Occasional returns (minimal) Laundry & Linens Wash, fold, and organize family laundry (check laundry upon arrival, rotate at least one load per day) Maintain regular linen rotation (sheets and towels) Keep laundry area tidy and well-stocked Deep Cleaning & Special Projects Occasional fridge clean-out (wipe down, remove expired items, rotate food) Refresh entryway and high-traffic areas Organizational projects such as sorting through kids' toys across multiple rooms and identifying outgrown items for donation Vendor & Property Oversight Research and coordinate repairs and get quotes as needed (e.g. find 2-3 vendors and present options for approval) Coordinate vendors/projects as needed (e.g. garage organization) Schedule seasonal property maintenance (example: fall cleanup scheduled in August) How to Apply Please submit: A cover letter Your updated resume Contact information for 3 professional references This role requires a background check.
