SERVICES

team! The Manager•Nutritional Services is responsible for planning, organizing and directing the overall operations of the Nutrition Services Departments (including kitchen, cafeteria, and Crosswalk Café and Gifts). The director ensures compliance with patient care quality standards by working collaboratively with the Dietician and other medical staff as it relates to nutritional care to patients/residents by assessing nutritional status, planning intervention based on findings, and teaching patients the necessary nutritional information for optimum health. The Manager maintains performance improvement activities within the department. The manager assures competency of all departments and contracted personnel. The manager maintains efficient and effective department operations while requiring compliance with all JCAHO, state, federal and hospital/local regulatory agencies. Travel between Medford Hospital, Stanley Hospital, and Chippewa Falls Hospital.
HOURS:
Full-Time or 1.0 FTE. Mainly day shift but may cover PM shift as needed. Experience/Qualifications Knowledge of nutritional standards and procedures is normally acquired through completion of an Associated Degree in an applicable field. Completion and certificate of approved Food Service Sanitation Course and Food Manager Service Certification (or completion within six months of hire) or Registered Dietitian is required. Bachelor's degree in management, Business or Related field is preferred. Minimum of two years leadership experience responsible for department operations is preferred.
