Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and ensure the smooth operation of our food service establishment. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily kitchen activities, manage staff, uphold food safety standards, and deliver exceptional dining experiences. Your leadership will drive efficiency, maintain high-quality food production, and foster a positive team environment that motivates staff to excel. Responsibilities Supervise all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices. Oversee accurate order processing, sales reconciliation. Lead staff training initiatives on food safety, proper handling techniques, and customer service standards to promote a safe and welcoming environment. Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff, assigning tasks, and ensuring smooth transitions between shifts for optimal productivity. Conduct regular food safety audits and ensure compliance with health regulations to maintain a spotless record of cleanliness and safety. Analyze profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth while maintaining high standards of quality. Weekends Qualifications Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a strong background in food preparation and cooking. Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management skills including interviewing, training, and developing staff. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential. Knowledge of inventory control, food safety management, and food industry best practices. Strong leadership abilities complemented by excellent communication skills in managerial settings. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for budgeting, inventory tracking, and sales analysis.
