#1353 CLUB MANAGER |JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Overview The Club Manager supervises, plans, and coordinates all activities and operations of the Club functions at the Casper Elks Lodge #1353 in Casper, Wyoming. This role requires close collaboration with the House Committee to streamline daily operations, maximize financial efficiency, and support Lodge events.Supervision & Relationships Direct Supervisor:
Receives specific direction from the presiding House Committee Chair.General Supervision:
Receives oversight from the current House Committee.Subordinates:
Exercises direct supervision over all assigned bartending, kitchen, wait staff, and general club labor.Key Collaborators:
Works in cooperation and conjunction with assigned Club accounting, auditing, bookkeeping, and the Lodge Treasurer. Core Responsibilities and Duties Operations & Facility Management- Coordinate organization, staffing, and operational activities for the Club portion of the Casper Elks Lodge.
- Manage food service operations, equipment care, and the ordering of materials and supplies.
- Coordinate facility maintenance closely with the Lodge Secretary and Janitor.
- Manage schedules for all daily operations and special activity functions.
- Synchronize Club areas—including bars, lounge, card room, pool room, kitchen, ballroom, and library—with overall Lodge operations and calendar events. Staff Leadership & Development
- Select, train, motivate, and evaluate assigned Club employees and personnel.
- Provide and coordinate staff trainings to resolve operational issues and improve capabilities.
- Assign work activities, special functions, projects, and schedules while monitoring overall progress.
- Conduct regular meetings with Club employees to ensure open communication and smooth operations. Financial & Administrative Management
- Reconcile daily drawers and prepare weekly deposits of club funds for the Treasurer.
- Provide all receipts, records, invoices, and relevant documents to the House Committee, bookkeeper, and accountants upon request.
- Direct and monitor Club expenditures and income streams to ensure fiscal responsibility. Strategy & Continuous Improvement
- Identify, recommend, and implement resource needs and policy/procedural changes in coordination with the House Committee.
- Maximize resources while minimizing expenses by continuously auditing operations and methods.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer service and implement approved changes.
- Stay aware of industry trends and innovations in Club operations by utilizing available training materials and attending seminars approved by the House Committee.
- Provide expertise in management practices, vendor resources, accounting practices, and inventory control. Other Duties
