Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Catering Manager to join our team! In this role, you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional food and service for events, creating unforgettable experiences for our guests. You will oversee all catering operations, ensuring high-quality food and service delivery for events ranging from corporate meetings to social gatherings. You'll collaborate with clients to determine their event requirements, manage a dedicated catering staff, and plan diverse menus in close coordination with chefs. Your main goal will be to maintain budgetary oversight, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and foster a culture of excellence, making every event a memorable one.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with clients to understand event requirements and preferences Plan and execute catering services for various events Develop and customize menus in collaboration with chefs Hire, train, and manage catering staff Schedule staff and assign duties for events Monitor budgets and control costs to ensure profitability Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations Manage inventory and order supplies as needed Coordinate with vendors and external service providers Handle on-site problem solving during events Pitch in on-site leadership when the manager is out, so nothing skips a beat Promote catering services and build client relationships
Qualifications/Skills:
Ability to plan and manage budgets Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and time management abilities Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities Proficiency in event planning and coordination Attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Ability to read and process complex information quickly and accurately Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week Open to taking on more responsibility as opportunities come up Work some weekends, evenings, and holidays

Must be able to pass a background check Must have reliable transportation and the ability to be punctual
