This role involves engaging with customers, managing transactions, and supporting daily restaurant operations to ensure a positive dining experience. Ideal candidates will have a passion for the food industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit Take customer orders accurately using Toast POS Serve food items following proper food safety and sanitation standards Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change with basic math skills Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness of dining areas Ensure all food safety protocols are followed diligently Manage time efficiently during busy periods to serve customers promptly Maintain a welcoming atmosphere by providing excellent customer service Experience Previous experience in food service, quick service, or fast food restaurant preferred Familiarity with Toast POS is advantageous Experience in cashiering, food handling, and sanitation practices is desirable Background in culinary arts, retail math, or grocery store operations is a plus Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks effectively with strong time management skills Prior restaurant or café experience will be beneficial for understanding food industry standards Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and friendliness
