Responsibilities Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and freshness. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food prep stations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment. Assist with food safety practices, proper food handling, and adherence to sanitation guidelines. Support the team with bussing tables, restocking supplies, and managing food delivery during busy hours. Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining a positive attitude in a quick service & fast food restaurant environment. Experience Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Experience working in quick service or fast food restaurants helps you adapt quickly to high-paced environments. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and basic math skills for cash handling is advantageous. Restaurant experience involving serving customers or cashiering will help you excel in this role. Ability to manage time effectively during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail is essential. A background in retail math or grocery store operations can be beneficial for inventory management tasks.
