Full-time/Part-time Position Overview :
We are seeking a reliable and motivated individuals to join our dynamic team in both our catering services and food truck operations. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy providing exceptional customer service, working in a fast-paced environment, and contributing to the success of both our catering team and mobile food service.
Key Responsibilities :
Customer Service:
Greet customers with a friendly and positive attitude. Take customer orders and provide accurate information about the menu. Answer customer inquiries and resolve concerns in a professional manner. Serve food and beverages with attention to quality and presentation.
Food Preparation & Cooking :
Assist in food preparation and cooking following company recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and food truck. Ensure food safety practices and hygiene standards are met.
Catering & Food Truck Operations :
Take the lead in setting up and closing the catering events and food truck operations. Help maintain stock levels and inventory, reporting when supplies need to be replenished. Ensure the food truck is clean and well-maintained during operation. Help prepare food and drinks for catering and food truck events, following all health and safety guidelines. Able to drive the food trailer, or willing to learn how to drive the food trailer. Must have a valid driver's license.
Team Collaboration :
Work effectively as part of a team, assisting co-workers and managers when needed. Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations.
Cash Handling & Register :
Accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and provide change. Operate the cash register and maintain accurate transactions. Ensure that all orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
Health & Safety :
Follow all health and safety guidelines for both catering and food truck settings. Ensure that food is stored, prepared, and served in accordance with health regulations. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by regularly sanitizing equipment, countertops, and seating areas.
Qualifications :
Previous experience is required. Must have experience in a similar field or leadership role. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods. Food Handler's certification. Valid driver's license. Must be willing to learn/able to deliver catering using company vehicle and drive/operate food trailer.
Compensation :
Event Lead pay: $20/hr based on experience + tips. (Tips average about $2/hr) We are looking for individuals who are passionate about food, customer service, and being part of a fun, energetic team. If you enjoy working in catering and on a food truck, we'd love to hear from you!
