This role supports the management team by supervising front-of-house staff, maintaining service and quality standards, assisting with opening and closing procedures, and ensuring smooth, efficient shifts. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, communicates effectively, and leads by example while creating a welcoming atmosphere for both guests and team members. Responsibilities Coordinate daily Front of the House restaurant operations Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints Cash handling, daily tip calculations, server/bartender checkouts Organize and supervise shifts Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations Manage restaurant's good image and suggest ways to improve it Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations Maintain cleanliness of restaurant and deep cleaning during down time, before operating hours or at close of shift Skills Proven work experience as a Restaurant Supervisor, Shift Lead, Key Holder, Hospitality Specialist or similar role Proven customer service experience as a manager Extensive food knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff Ability to prioritize shift need and step in to support staff accordingly Lead a team of Hostesses, Bussers, Food Runners, Servers and Bartenders Familiarity with restaurant management software, like TOAST & HotSchedules Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
