Because of our size, every member of our team plays an important role in our success. We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) who is comfortable wearing multiple hats and enjoys being part of a collaborative leadership team. This is more than a traditional cart nurse position. We're looking for someone who can confidently manage a medication cart while also assisting with admissions, supervising the nursing team, and helping ensure excellent clinical outcomes. What You'll Do Provide direct nursing care and medication administration. Manage a skilled nursing medication cart with accuracy and efficiency. Complete nursing admissions, assessments, and care planning. Coordinate admissions from hospitals and communicate with interdisciplinary team members. Serve as the nursing supervisor during assigned shifts. Support and mentor LVNs and CNAs. Respond to changes in resident condition and coordinate physician communication. Ensure accurate and timely documentation in PointClickCare (PCC). Promote regulatory compliance and survey readiness. Collaborate with therapy, social services, dietary, and administration to deliver exceptional resident care. Assist with clinical problem-solving and day-to-day operational needs.
Qualifications Required:
Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Minimum 2 years of Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience. Previous experience working as a cart nurse in a SNF. Experience completing skilled nursing admissions. Strong assessment, critical thinking, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Current CPR/BLS certification.
Preferred:
Charge Nurse or House Supervisor experience. Experience using PointClickCare (PCC). Wound care knowledge. IV certification and experience.
