Job Description

Hidden Valley Lake is located in Northern California, in the southern part of Lake County. Nestled in the beautiful hills of historic Coyote Valley, we are 22 miles north of Calistoga, between Middletown and Lower Lake. Our residents enjoy the enviable small town quality of life, yet are about 2 hours from either San Francisco or Sacramento. Lake County also boasts rich wine and pear industries easily experienced just minutes from any of our five gates. Authors, artists and craftspeople enrich our community and are well represented in our valley and mountains. We also enjoy a wide variety of clubs and social activities open to all. Hidden Valley Lake Association has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Food & Beverage Director with a passion for excellence in the hospitality industry to manage The Greenview . The successful candidate will have 3 or more years of Food & Beverage Director experience with a strong background in food operations and a successful track record of profitable operations. Familiarity with budgeting while meeting quality and service goals. A focus on member satisfaction is essential. The Food & Beverage Director reports to the General Manager, and must have an excellent working relationship and ability to work as a team player with all members of the management team.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises all Food, Beverage and events staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include preliminary interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; conducting employee meetings as necessary, informing employees of new policies and/or procedures; giving feedback for appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent from four-year college or technical school; or 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
