ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

General customer service Selling and serving of beverages and food Bussing and cleaning of tables Answering telephones Assistance with to-go purchases Provides description of menu items, daily specials, bar items, wine. Assists in inventory and order processing of inventory to replenish stock Assists in filling in stock and depletions Maintains and keeps restaurant areas clean and tidy according to established standards Responsible for processing transactions on register Responsible for keeping up-to-date with ABC regulations and adhering to established policies and procedures regarding the handling and service of alcoholic beverages Adheres to all opening, closing, stocking and side work checklist and finishes them in a timely manner as to not hinder the service of the guests. Maintaining all necessary and/or required certifications and trainings, including ABC, ServeSafe and any other as required by HVLA. EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE
High School Diploma/GED, Minimum of 1 year related experience and/or trainingLANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
