Location:

Based out of our Orange County commissary (Irvine area). Events across Southern California — OC, LA, Inland Empire, occasional San Diego.

Pay:

$22/hr starting + per-event performance bonuses (up to $25/event) + monthly KPI bonus (up to $250/mo) + tips + paid admin hours. Effective $26

• 28/hr+ when bonuses and tips stack.

Plus retention bonuses:

$500 at 90 days, $750 at 180 days.

Schedule:

Full-time, W2. Includes nights and weekends — that's where the events are. We're not looking for someone who just works hard. We're looking for someone who commands the truck. The Lime Truck is a fast-paced, high-energy catering company serving major brands, large-scale events, and private clients across Southern California. WHAT A CREW CHIEF DOES

• Leads a full food truck shift (prep, service, closeout)
• Assigns stations and controls speed
• Protects the guest experience — owns cleanliness, plating, and presentation
• Makes decisions under pressure
• Holds the team accountable — comfortable correcting peers without being emotional
• Drives the truck safely to and from events (clean license required)
• Submits clean, accurate closeouts and inventory the same night You are the conductor.

PAY AND GROWTH

• $22/hr starting (paid weekly)
• Per-event performance bonus: up to $25/event for hitting the standard
• Monthly KPI bonus: up to $250/month
• 90-day retention bonus: $500. 180-day retention bonus: $750
• Tips (we tip well — strong crew chiefs effectively earn $26
• 28/hr+ when bonuses and tips stack)
• Paid admin hours weekly for inventory and ops sync
• Clear path to Lead Crew Chief / Operations Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years in restaurant, catering, food truck, or fast-casual leadership (shift lead, key holder, AM/AGM)
• California Food Handler card (or willingness to get one in week 1; ServSafe a plus)
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, comfortable driving a 22-ft truck (we'll train)
• Available nights and weekends
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs and stand 8+ hours
