Job Description

Kitchen Lead /Supervisor needed for our Fast/Casual Restaurant, Coffee Shop & Wine Bar! Our fast/casual restaurant is looking for a part-time kitchen Lead /Supervisor to join our team in the up-and-coming West Adams area of Los Angeles (east of Culver City)! Our restaurant features high-end coffee service earlier in the morning and transitions into an extensive wine by the glass and beer list in the afternoon and evening. Our food menu is created by our owner and renowned executive chef, Chef Daniel Elmaleh! Our restaurant is a lively environment, and we seek a candidate who can offer our guests a personalized and fun experience! You must be 21+ years in age and have open availability 3-4 days a week. We are looking for general open availability, 4 days a week, but you must be available to work weekends and evening shifts In addition to the $22 per hour wage, you would also be a part of the tip pool between the front of house and back of house kitchen teams.
Food Quality & Execution:
Prepares and grills food to exact recipes, ensuring proper portioning and presentation.
Shift Operations:
Manages evenings shift tasks, including closing procedures. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the menu and Restaurant services. Be an expert on all aspects of our food and beverage program. Cross train across all stations and positions in the restaurant. Follow established safety and sanitation procedures for food handling. Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Experience:
With 4+years of recent fast/casual dining experience. Knowledge of coffee preparation and service and knowledge of wine and beer offerings is ideal. Be eager to learn. Be a fast learner, self-motivated and reliable. Knowledge of a POS system & 3rd party delivery apps. Be skilled at organization, prioritization, and execution. Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume. Be 21 years of age or older. Food Handlers certification/RBS Certification. Excellent References.
