Schedule:
Approximately 32-35 hours per week, primarily evening shifts. About Us Fire Wings is a fast-paced quick service restaurant serving wings, tenders, noodles, and sides with a strong focus on consistency, speed, cleanliness, and teamwork. We're looking for an experienced Shift Supervisor to take ownership of our evening operations and help build a culture of accountability, consistency, and teamwork. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work alongside the team while directing the shift, coaching employees, maintaining high operational standards, and ensuring every night finishes clean, organized, and ready for the next day. We're looking for someone who enjoys developing people, maintaining high standards, and building a team that takes pride in doing things the right way. What You'll Do Lead a 2-4 person evening team. Direct kitchen and front counter workflow throughout the shift. Deploy the team by putting the right people in the right positions throughout the shift to maintain speed, quality, and productivity. Keep the team productive during both busy and slower periods. Coach, develop, and hold team members accountable to operational standards throughout the shift. Ensure prep, stocking, cleaning, and side work are completed correctly. Monitor product levels and anticipate kitchen needs throughout service. Step into any position—including kitchen or front counter—to keep operations running smoothly. Complete a final closing walkthrough to ensure the restaurant is clean, organized, and ready for the next day. Communicate operational issues and opportunities for improvement to ownership. What We're Looking For You are someone who: Leads by example. Naturally takes ownership without being asked. Is comfortable coaching and directing coworkers respectfully. Holds people accountable while earning their respect. Notices problems before they're pointed out. Maintains high standards for cleanliness, organization, food quality, and productivity. Keeps the team moving during slower periods instead of waiting for direction. Stays calm, organized, and decisive during busy periods. Enjoys developing people and helping them improve. Requirements Previous leadership or shift supervision experience in a restaurant or food service environment. Strong attendance and reliability. Comfortable working all kitchen stations and stepping into the front counter when needed. Comfortable coaching coworkers and maintaining operational standards. Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds. Evening and weekend availability required. What Success Looks Like Success in this role means the shift runs smoothly whether ownership is present or not. You'll build trust by keeping the team productive, developing employees through real-time coaching, maintaining high operational standards, and ensuring every shift closes clean, organized, and ready for the next day. Ownership handles hiring, firing, scheduling, payroll, and administrative responsibilities. Your responsibility is to lead the shift, develop the team, and consistently execute excellent operations every night. You'll know you're successful when your team knows what's expected, takes pride in doing things the right way, and delivers a shift that both the opening crew and ownership can count on.
