Compensation:

Base hourly wage + tips, with typical total earnings of approximately $18-$22/hour The Pizza Press is looking for an energetic and dependable Shift Lead to help lead our team and keep each shift running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, takes ownership of their work, and is ready to take the next step into restaurant leadership. What You'll Do Help lead the team during assigned shifts Create a welcoming and positive guest experience Assign positions and tasks based on the needs of the shift Keep the team focused, organized, and moving during busy periods Prepare pizzas and other menu items according to our standards Maintain food quality, cleanliness, and food-safety standards Open and/or close the restaurant Manage registers, cash drawers, refunds, and basic cash handling Help identify and resolve guest or operational issues Support training and development of new team members Communicate equipment, staffing, guest, and shift concerns to management What We're Looking For Must be 21 years of age or older Dependable with strong communication skills Comfortable taking initiative and providing direction to a team Able to stay organized in a fast-paced restaurant environment Positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed Strong attention to cleanliness, food quality, and guest service Restaurant or customer-service experience preferred Previous leadership experience is a plus, but we're willing to develop the right person Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed What We Offer Tips in addition to hourly wages Flexible scheduling Employee discounts A fun, team-oriented work environment Hands-on leadership experience Training and development through The Front Page Academy Opportunities for advancement into Assistant General Manager and General Manager roles At The Pizza Press, our Shift Leads help set the tone for the entire shift.
