As a New Restaurant Opening (NRO) Leader, you'll travel across the United States leading the training and execution of new Mike's Red Tacos restaurants. You'll work alongside franchise partners, restaurant leaders, and opening teams to ensure every restaurant launches with the food quality, hospitality, speed, and operational excellence that define our brand. When not supporting restaurant openings, you'll work from our Pasadena Corporate Store & Training Center, helping maintain best-in-class operations, supporting training activities, and staying connected to the restaurant environment that serves as the foundation for all Mike's Red Tacos standards. What We Offer ✅ $27.00•30.00 per hour ✅ New Restaurant Opening bonuses ✅ Company-paid airfare, hotel accommodations, and travel expenses ✅ Estimated annual earnings of $65,000•80,000+ ✅ Opportunity to travel throughout the United States ✅ Home base at our Corporate Store & Training Center in Pasadena ✅ Leadership development and career growth opportunities ✅ Work directly with Operations, Training, and Franchise Partners ✅ Opportunity to help build one of the fastest-growing brands in the industry What You'll Do Lead and oversee New Restaurant Openings from training through launch Coach, support, and develop NRO Trainers Train restaurant teams to Mike's Red Tacos standards Ensure excellence in food quality, hospitality, cleanliness, and speed of service Execute training plans, opening schedules, and operational standards Partner with franchisees, restaurant leadership teams, and support staff Identify operational challenges and implement solutions in real time Create a high-energy, organized, and professional training environment Ensure restaurants are fully prepared for a successful grand opening Communicate progress, opportunities, and results to company leadership Support restaurant operations and training activities at the Pasadena Corporate Store & Training Center between openings What We're Looking For ✔ Strong restaurant operations experience ✔ Proven leadership and team development experience ✔ Experience coaching and training team members ✔ Ability to lead multiple stations and departments within a restaurant ✔ Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills ✔ Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities ✔ Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments ✔ Professional, dependable, and team-oriented mindset ✔ Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus, but not required ✔ Ability and willingness to travel extensively Travel & Schedule Travel throughout the United States supporting restaurant openings Company-paid airfare, hotel accommodations, and travel expenses Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Extended shifts and overtime expected during restaurant openings Typical opening assignments range from 2-3 weeks onsite When not traveling, NRO Leaders work from our Pasadena Corporate Store & Training Center supporting restaurant operations, training activities, and ongoing team development Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment Ability to bend, reach, and work in tight spaces Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Why This Role Matters Every new Mike's Red Tacos restaurant begins with the NRO Team.
