Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the store manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring the store meets sales targets
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with their inquiries and purchases
  • Process sales transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure products are properly stocked and displayed
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising store staff
  • Collaborate with the store manager to develop and implement sales strategies
  • Conduct regular sales meetings to review performance and set goals for the team
  • Negotiate pricing with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing for products
Skills:
  • Strong sales management skills with the ability to sell products effectively
  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems for processing transactions
  • Experience in store management or assistant management roles preferred
  • Bilingual skills (if applicable) to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base
  • Strong mathematical skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory
  • Ability to recruit, train, and motivate a team of employees
  • Excellent negotiation skills for securing favorable pricing from suppliers
