We are seeking a results-driven and experienced District Manager to provide leadership and oversight for multiple locations throughout Northern California. Position Summary The District Manager oversees multiple restaurant locations within a designated geographic region, ensuring each location consistently delivers outstanding operational performance and guest experience. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, improving profitability, maintaining operational standards, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. The District Manager serves as a key leader, coaching and developing Store Managers while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead, coach, train, mentor, and develop Store Managers to achieve performance objectives related to sales growth, profitability, labor management, food costs, guest satisfaction, and operational execution. Conduct regular announced and unannounced restaurant visits to evaluate operational performance, facility standards, team presentation, product quality, food safety, inventory controls, staffing effectiveness, and overall guest experience. Ensure all locations operate in compliance with company standards, operational procedures, and federal, state, and local regulations. Analyze sales, profit-and-loss statements, budgets, and other key performance indicators to identify opportunities and develop action plans that improve operational results. Partner with Store Managers to increase sales, manage expenses, improve operational execution, and achieve financial objectives. Demonstrate flexibility and sound business judgment when addressing staffing challenges, operational priorities, and changing business needs. Resolve guest concerns and employee relations matters in a timely and professional manner. Investigate escalated issues involving employee relations, cash handling, safety, security, and compliance. Lead succession planning efforts by identifying, coaching, and developing high-potential leaders for advancement opportunities. Support the professional growth of Store Managers and restaurant team members through ongoing coaching, training, and development initiatives. Promote clear communication and collaboration throughout the district by sharing company initiatives, operational priorities, best practices, and performance expectations. Continuously identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and support organizational objectives. Supervisory Responsibilities Direct oversight of six (6) or more restaurant locations. Authority to hire, train, evaluate, promote, recognize, discipline, and transfer restaurant team members in accordance with company policies. Review and approve scheduling, attendance, and timekeeping for Store Managers and restaurant team members. Additional Responsibilities Ensure effective execution of new product launches, promotional initiatives, operational programs, and required training activities. Support restaurant openings, remodels, and rebranding initiatives within the assigned territory. Participate in the development and management of annual operating budgets. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive consistency, operational efficiency, and overall business performance. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a General Manager in a restaurant or hospitality environment. Three (3) or more years of multi-unit leadership experience in a quick-service, fast-casual, or similar multi-location operation preferred. Demonstrated success leading teams, developing managers, and achieving measurable business results. Proven ability to manage multiple locations while maintaining high operational standards. Licenses and Certifications Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation required. Current food safety certification required or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire. Food Handler certification or permit as required by local regulations. Compliance with all applicable health and safety requirements. Travel Requirements Frequent travel throughout the assigned Northern California territory is required. Regular visits to multiple restaurant locations, including announced and unannounced operational reviews. Occasional overnight travel may be required based on business needs. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as necessary to support operational requirements.
