Nick The Greek in San Luis Obispo, CA is looking for Cook to join our 11 person strong team. We are located on 733 Higuera Street. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and hard-working. Benefits We offer many great benefits, including free early access to your pay through Homebase.
Responsibilities Food Quality and Safety:
Ensure all food is prepared according to recipe standards and quality specifications Monitor food temperatures and proper food handling practices Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen workspace, adhering to all local health and safety regulations Conduct regular food safety inspections
Inventory Management:
Track inventory levels and minimize food waste
Kitchen Operations:
Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring smooth workflow and timely food service Coordinate with the front-of-house staff to ensure smooth communication and service Monitor kitchen equipment and schedule maintenance as needed Qualifications Bilingual/Spanish preferred Strong leadership and supervisory skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in inventory management and cost control Ability to work effectively under pressure We are looking forward to hearing from you.
