Job Description

Summary TMNT Pizzeria is an immersive dining concept inspired by the iconic Teenage Mutant NinjaTurtles franchise, located in Santa Monica. The restaurant brings together authentic New York-style pizza, high-quality ingredients, and a vibrant, themed atmosphere that celebrates the Turtles' love of great pizza. Designed to be both fun and welcoming, TMNT Pizzeria offers guests a memorable experience that blends great food, nostalgic design elements, and a lively environment for fans, families, and visitors alike.
Role Overview:
The Front of House (FOH) Lead helps ensure each shift runs smoothly by supporting the FOH team, maintaining service standards, and assisting management with daily operations. This role leads by example on the floor, supports guest service, and steps in as Manager on Duty when needed. The FOH Lead reports directly to the Store Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the daily operations of the FOH team, including hosts, servers, bartenders, and food runners. Ensure all service standards, cleanliness standards, and operational procedures are followed. Monitor service flow and assist staff during busy periods. Assist with opening and closing duties of the restaurant. Communicate with the kitchen team regarding specials and service expectations. Address guest concerns and resolve issues in a professional manner. Assist management in monitoring labor levels and staffing needs. Leadership /
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) when the Store Manager or Assistant Manager is not present. Provide guidance and support to FOH staff during service. Assist with the training and development of FOH employees. Ensure staff compliance with company policies and labor laws.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment. Strong understanding of FOH roles, including host, server, bartender, and food runner. Valid Food Handler, RBS, and required California certifications. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to successfully pass a background check screening as a condition of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous supervisory or shift lead experience in a restaurant. Experience with POS systems and labor scheduling.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8-12 hours). Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when needed. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Leadership and team management skills. Strong communication and conflict resolution abilities. Ability to stay calm and organized under pressure. Excellent guest service mindset.
Additional Information:
Reports directly to the Store Manager. Expected to always maintain company standards and service procedures.
Pay:
$20.16 - $23.16 per hour
