Fresh Burrito Mexican Grill is seeking a skilled and passionate Kitchen Lead to join our team. If you have a love for creating delicious Mexican cuisine and a knack for leading a kitchen team, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards. Oversee kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food production. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients. Maintain food quality and safety standards in compliance with health regulations. Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and manage food storage. Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking stations. Handle food preparation for special events and catering orders as needed. Collaborate with management to optimize kitchen operations and improve service.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a Lead or similar role in a restaurant setting. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of Mexican cuisine. Ability to lead and motivate a kitchen team. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
